Thistle Cup

Aberdeen's annual Taikai is coming up on the May 5th and it's time to be registering.

You need to get this form printed and handed in at practise with a check for £5 made out to "Aberdeen Kendo Club"

Yamazaki Sensei needs these back before the 30th so hand them in to the club by next Thursday (26th) at the very latest.

2. Time: 11:00 - Registration
11:15 - Opening Ceremony
11:30 - Competition starts ( " Ladies " first )
12:30 - Embu - Performance ( Aikido, Kids Kendo )
13:00 - Competition starts again
16:30 - Prize Giving & Closing Ceremony

4. Category & Prizes: Open for anybody

A) 9 years and under = Embu only, no competition: Some prize for everybody.
B) Competition 10 years to 12 years: Shinai for the winner, and Medals 1, 2 & joint 3
C) Competition 13 years to 15 years: Shinai for the winner, and Medals 1, 2 & joint 3
D) Competition 16 years to 18 years: Shinai for the winner, and Medals 1, 2 & joint 3
E) Competition 19 years and over Ladies up to 2nd Dan inclusive
Shinai for the winner, and Medals 1, 2 & joint 3
F) Competition 19 years and over Men up to 2nd Dan inclusive
Shinai & Cup for the winner, and Medals 1, 2 & joint 3

I would appreciate any helps from the people with 3rd Dan and above for Shimpan.
All the participants and helpers will receive a memorial Tenugui.

7. Entry fee for Thistle Cup: GBP 5 each
Fee for Ji-Geiko on 6th: Free

by Monday 30th of April;
I would appreciate if Dojo Leaders could gather the information and fees of their Dojo members.
